Is there a dress code?
While there is no strict dress code, we do ask that guests do not wear sports/lounge wear e.g. t-shirts, hoodies or trainers. Our wedding is quite heavily themed around Medieval Fantasy but it is not a fancy dress/cosplay event so please do not feel obliged to wear any period clothing!
Please be aware that guests will need to move between buildings during the day so some time may be spent outside, keep that in mind when planning your outfit.
Can I bring a plus one?
We have allocated plus ones where possible, but unfortunately due to limited space we are not able to give everyone a plus one. Your RSVP form will indicate the number of guests in your party.
Are children invited?
We have allocated childrens places where we can, but again, due to limited space we are very sorry that we are unable to invite everyones children.
Can I bring my dog?
You may have heard that our beloved dog Angelica will be attending the wedding as a VIP (Very Important Pooch). Unfortunately we have been instructed by the venue that only the bride and groom's pet companion is invited and guests must not bring their dogs. But, there are a few dogs who live at Birtsmorton Court who may be around for a fuss!
Shall I bring a gift?
We have lived together for several years now so we really don't need anything for the house! If you would be so kind as to give us a gift, we would really appreciate cash towards our honeymoon to Japan.
Will my diet be catered for?
We have been assured by our caterer that they can accommodate dietary requirements, including gluten-free, lactose intolerance and veganism. Please ensure your RSVP form is filled in detailing any dietary requirements so we can inform the caterer accurately.
